Thrifted a pillowcase diy-style

Just came back from my parents in law. They just moved to a new town. That means new thrift stores to discover : ) I found this treasure. Someone hade fastened this croched tablecloth to a pillow. Absolutely beautiful. I might fix me some more of these to match this one. Rested my feet on it the whole way home. Maybe I should have a pillow or two in the car… gonna miss it there ; )

hittade en liten kudde på second hand som fick följa med hem. Någon kreativ själ hade fäst en virkad duk på en enfärgad kudde. Jättefint tycker jag. Ska nog göra fler som matchar… kanske.

Thrifted treasures

One of my favorite things to do in Kalmar is thrift shopping. There are quite a few good second hand stores around here and I especially tend to find amazing vintage fabrics. And torn fabric. Like these bundles.

they make a very thick yarn, and I love crocheting big pillows out of them. But this time I’ve decided to use the knitting needles instead. I’m not sure what I’m making, we’ll see, let’s see.

Älskar att second hand fynda i Kalmar. Speciellt tyg och mattrasor. Som jag brukar virka stora kuddar av. Men denna gången tänker jag ge mig på stickorna istället. Får se vad det blir.
